UV Film Installation

In late January the Royal Historical Society of Queensland commissioned the installation of UV film to the windows of the Commissariat Store. This was made possible through funding from the National Library of Australia’s Community Heritage Grant. Thanks to Ian from Totally Tinting who expertly completed the installation.

Having the added protection of UV film on the windows will not only minimise the harmful effect of UV light on our collection, but also assist in reducing the building temperature and making it a safe and comfortable environment for our volunteers and visitors.
