To whom it may concern,
Varsity College Year 5 students (all 10 classes of us!) visited the Commissariat Store at the end of last term. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and found the museum very interesting. The guides were excellent and were able to share many stories and detailed historical information with the children. Students particularly enjoyed seeing the original leg irons and cat-o-nine-tails and also the models of the penal settlement. The visit to the Commissariat Store perfectly complemented our study of the Moreton Bay Penal Settlement in our Year 5 History curriculum.
Yours sincerely,
